Based on true experiences from the ensemble, this play reveals stories of building a chosen family, maintaining self care, being a strong ally, and finding personal joy. POWER IN PRIDE invites audiences into positive dialogue to create more equitable and inclusive environments for all.

About Face Theatre advances national dialogue about gender and sexuality. The AFT Outreach and Engagement Program has been touring around the city and the country for twenty years providing opportunities for people of all ages to have important conversations about gender, sexuality, intersecting identities, ways to be a better ally and supporting healthy relationships.

Brave Space Alliance is the first Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ Center located on the South Side of Chicago, and designed to create and provide affirming and culturally competent services for the entire LGBTQ community of Chicago. We aim to generate opportunities for ourselves, our families, our comrades, and our futures to engage in healing, community building, and the creation of kinship. We strive to educate, empower, and embolden each other through sharing skills, knowledge, and resources as we build towards the liberation of all oppressed peoples.
