PROGRAMS & RESOURCES

Due to discrimination and harassment, many LGBTQ+ people struggle to obtain resources. BSA provides educational and access-based programming to provide community members with what is needed to survive and thrive. All programming, services, and resources are intended for BIPOC trans and gender-nonconforming individuals.

ABOUT US

BSA is a vehicle to empower and elevate queer and trans voices, particularly those belonging to people of color, to allow our communities a seat at the table on key decision making processes that impact the community of Chicago.

WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING

We support individuals and organizations to build networks and strategies. Our trainings and workshops are intergenerational and intersectional, people of all ages interested in anti-oppression and movement building. 

COVID-19 Resources

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Trans Liberation Collective and Brave Space Alliance are collaborating to provide relief funding for transgender, nonbinary, and intersex individuals on the South and West sides of Chicago. Several other resources are on our COVID-19 page.
